I've developed “styling formulas” to help busy, driven women streamline their morning routines and get dressed effortlessly! - Dr. Charlene. Lawson
Stage Name: Dr. Charlene
Hometown: Warrenton, VA currently living in Houston, Texas
Profession: Certified Wardrobe Stylist
Enterprise: Style Chemistry Consulting: Fashion down to a science
Fashion is public, but style is personal. In this article feature, we will discuss the formulas of style and elements of sophisticated fashion to glam up your wardrobe selections. We have a prestigious doctor on this edition of NEECEE LEXY to guide us through this laboratory session.
On our selected list of Top 100 Self-Made Entrepreneurs from around the globe, we have the gorgeous Dr. Charlene Lawson as our special guest for this feature interview. Dr. Charlene Lawson is a chemist Ph.D. holder from Howard University. In addition, Dr. Charlene is a certified wardrobe stylist, CEO, and founder of Style Chemistry Consulting based in Houston, Texas.
We are thrilled to have her on the NEECEE LEXY blog to discuss her journey as a chemist and certified wardrobe stylist. Not to be biased, but I am a fashion model and a kinesiologist major. I've been super excited to release this interview with Dr. Charlene Lawson.
The main reason we've created the TOP 100 SELF-MADE ENTREPRENEURS from around the world is to showcase these talented and inspiring entrepreneurs' platforms, many of whom positively impact our communities with their civic duties, technological development, social media marketing, and the breaking of barriers as female-founded enterprises. These are genuinely remarkable breakthroughs that are worth sharing. For instance, despite her career in the oil industry (a well-known male-dominated field), where successful women struggle to express themselves outwardly, Dr. Charlene has proven she can stay strong in a male-dominated career field, such as a chemist and still run her business! Now, THAT'S a boss move!
I, too, find it hard to explain to people that being a Kinesiologist and Fashion Model is possible. Today, I am honored to have Dr. Lawson decode the elements of fashion and introduce us to her styling formulas. Get your papers and pens, and let's get ready to be inspired and empowered.
Please, tell us about yourself in a short intro.
I am a Ph.D. Chemist, Certified Wardrobe Stylist, and Mom of 2 outstanding young men.
WOW! What is the inspiration behind STYLE CHEMISTRY CONSULTING?
I worked in the oil industry, a well-known male-dominated field. Many female colleagues were accomplished and successful but struggled to express themselves outwardly. I revamped a few closets and, indeed, saw the power of Style. They strutted differently and had a new level of confidence! When we look good, we feel good, and when we feel good, we perform better in all areas of our lives! Style can transform and build confidence!
The name came about when I realized that most women struggle to create outfits. I've developed “styling formulas” to help busy, driven women streamline their morning routines and get dressed effortlessly!".
