This is week we got a chance to interview one of Brooklyn, New York very own rapper aka Jae Lejit. New York is the hip-hop music capital of the world. We all know NYC is birthplace of Hip Hop, famous & entertainment. The city of New York from time now has held numbers of lengendary rappers in the music industry from the famous music power house Jay Z, Lil Kim Tupac, LL Cool J, Run-D.M.C., Nicki Minaj, Nas. , Biz Markie, Mase. When did you start singing?
I wrote my first rap verse during my early teenage years. Twelve years old to be exact. I
recorded my first song “Cash Flow Remix” at the age fifteen in November 2008.
Who inspired your music career?
I would have to say Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Drake, J. Cole, Rick Ross, Freck Billionaire, Tory Lanez,
Moneybagg Yo, Lupe Fiasco, Tinashe, Ralo, and the Migos.
What is the inspiration behind your latest single?
I hosted an album party and witnessed the lack of genuine support from my own community
which compelled me to write No Telling.
I wrote Jealousy because I feel a lot of envy/hatred from artists, friendships,
business/community leaders, and others due to my personal success.
What can we expect from you in two years or so?
Two years from now, you can expect me to acquire the 16 Bars studio, launch my political
campaign, stabilize my global business presence, and possibly become a father.
Which artist would you like to do a song collaboration with?
- Casper TNG, Lil Pump, Bebe Rexha, and Drake.
