FUTURE OF MARKETING IN TECH INDUSTRY
Digital marketing is an ever-growing industry. That's why is very important to stay on top of your game. My experiencing working as a Social Media manager, content creator and PPC strategist. I found it very interesting how Digital Marketing updates it has drastic changes from week to week, UX experience, A.I automation action and targeting customer behaviour based on data.
1 -Psychological behind buyers decision:
As I mentioned in my previous post on Artificial Intelligence and the future of Digital Marketing.. We have come so far to rely heavily on big data to provide us with a snap view of buyer behaviours. Thus, understand our consumers' behaviour as they search for products and services online. Their pattern of engagement being tracked through cookies. One of the most valuable skills to have as Digital marketers today is the ability to understand the psychologically behind buyers' decisions and relating it back to A.I.
You want to generate conversion generation within your platform in social media which is going to lead to buying opportunities for your business. Remember why email marketing was hot top, now engagement is the go-to topic. Focusing on turning online conversion into sales.
3 - Automation:
Time is money, if you have mastered the ability to auto your marketing strategist that a big win. Work less but make it seems as you never sleep a day in your life. That's is the power of automation. I LOVE THAT!
4 - Funnel marketing:
For any business is important that you understand your marketing funnel The TOFU, MOFU BOFU. For those who are not familiar with these acronyms let me provide you with brief descriptions.
TOFU - Top of the funnel
They are generally targeting people who are still not sure about buying anything. However, they are actively looking for products or services.
MOFU - Middle of the funnel
These are people who have specific interests in service or products. However, they are at the consideration phase trying to compare prices, read a blog, watch product reviews.
BOFU - Bottom of the funnel.
We are talking about people who are ready to make a purchase decision. As a Digital Marketer, your main focus would be to generate content or ads campaign that focuses on driving warm traffic with qualified leads that would convert. 5- VIDEO marketing:
Go for the big shot, everything is turning into a motion picture. Still, images are boring and don't traffic enough interested fr some scrolling through newsfeed
6 Choosing the Right medium:
Get to the area where your customer is at? That means picking the right social media platform in which your customers are on. If you are an artist you want to create Spotify, Itunes or Sound Cloud. If you are beauty influencers or e-commerce Instagram, Facebook Market, and Youtube should be your top medium. By now you got the message!
7 - Content still a QUEEN/KING!
This is saying that all Digita Marketers understand. The power of producing effective content to attract clients and fans online. Plus, having great content will help to produce more engagements, social share etc. Put your best practice in mind when creating these content and when to post and how frequently you schedule them out.
