YOU CAN BE VLOGGER TOO!
Getting started is the hardest thing as vlogger; However, it should have to be right! In this blog post, I am going to provide you with my own personal tips on how to start your vlog today.
Back in early 2020, pandemic hit and decided to take leap of faith and be more active with my youtube vlog after going into hideous for nearly 4 years off youtube. MY STORY ON VLOGG
BECOME THE COOLEST EVENT PR & DIGITAL INFLUENCE
My early days as a Vlogger as I had no intention of making money from it. In 2007, I created my first youtube channel so I can comment on my first music video. After a while, I decided I was going to post some my class video editing projects on Youtube. It was simply a hubby to sharing my creativity and doing covers. I got the organic 900,000 views, youtube loved and gave partnership deal on first youtube channel in 2010. I was first of all, shocked that they saw value on my channel and reach out to me via email to join the partnership. It was major milestones, however, because I did not read the whole rules and policy tie to this YTP my account was immediately paused shortly after. I was crashed, I went off youtube for few more years.
RESET, REBRANDING
In 2012, I decided to come back fresh with new account. Only this time, I read the partnership agreement, content copyrights music and how to allow my account to stay clear. I would only post things that I produce with copy right free music in that channel. I posted hair product review, short film, teasers about my fashion shows events. Shortly a year later, I posted one video that went virual got over 100,000 views by 2014. This time I applied for YPT partnership got accepted immediately and by 2016 my account reached 1.5millions views.
What I want to tell you is that, you success is possible coming from person who see it twice and growing my third channel while educating you. Below I am going to share some insights on how you can become a Vlogger too today.
Educate, Inspired or motivate via Youtube
Honestly, wether you would like to start a blog about the life of an immigrant just arriving to a new country. For instance, sharing the process of learning a new language, involving to a new culture. For someone, they even share their visa process and jobs that can help you settle in new country.
Let's say you are a survivor of assault, abuse or disease. You are thinking of starting a blog to show tips to grow from trauma. You channel will be very impactful to those who are going through similar issues. You can become the voice that gives them hope and motivation to overcome it. On the other hand, you can start vblog to document your self improvement journey and inspire others to start their self improvement journey. There are no limit to what topic you can vlog about on youtube because the platform is massively personal.
The most important thing you need to keep in mind is finding your"niche". The emphasis on finding a niche.
Where to start?
You can start a blog even if don’t want to pay a lot upfront. There are many sites you could start using today such as Wix, Wordpress with the free version then change premeium later. Check out more detail on my previous article post on How To Create A Blog For Beginners For FREE.
In addition, you could use either WordPress or Wix for free, and later on down the road you switch it over pay hosting. They do come with monthly or annual options to select from and 14 days full refund.
