AFRO FEST Celebrating its 30th Anniversary with a Djembe World Record
Featuring Eddy Kenzo & The Ghetto Kids
This year we are thrilled to have the International performing artist Eddy Kenzo along side The Ghetto Kids with their Live band in Canada for the first time. They will be performing live on stage July 8th at the Afro Fest Toronto, July 21st at African Descent Festival Vancouver, and July 28th at Ottawa African Festival.
They've officially landed in Toronto early this morning leaving Canadian fans anticipated for their opening performance this weekend at Woodbine Park.
Edrisah Musuuza, popularly known as Eddy Kenzo is a talented Ugandan native artist with an inspiring life story. At 4 years old, he lost his dear mother and was forced into living as a street child for more than 13 years without knowing his father whereabout. His gifted musical talent had granted him changing life experience. Today we are celebrate his talent and success as an inspiration for touching lives of many people around the world from his music. If you are in any of the following cities ( TORONTO, OTTAWA, EDMONTON, AND VANCOUVER) make sure to come out watch their live performance.

AFROFEST Is known as the largest free African music festival in North America. On July 8th to 9th the city of Toronto is celebrating its 30th year anniversary in bringing African culture and Music. Our team had the pleasure witnessing the pre-celebration of Afrofest during Africa Day event held at REBEL last month. It was an spectacular nigh featuring African fashion, music and Dance.
AFROFEST this year aims to break the Guinness World Record as the highest number of djembe drummers playing simultaneously. If you are in Canada or city of Toronto this weekend make sure to attend it. The event is open to public and held at Woodbine Park this Saturday to Sunday.
OTTAWA AFRICA FESTIVAL

Ottawa African festival focuses on promoting the incredible values of the African culture, music, art performances, exhibits. This year they are celebrating its 9th annivasary of the Ottawa African Festival in collaboration with Uganda Association of Ottawa present Eddy Kenzo, his live band and The Ghetto Kids from Kampala, Uganda. Including other artists and performers such as: Rafaro Marimba band of Ottawa, gospel singers, hip hop artists, raps, authentic African drummers and dancers, Fashion Show and many more.... You will also be seeing vendors with Arts and Crafts, African Foods and more.
4th Annual African Descent Festival: Vancouver
Western Canada be ready to experience the same rich cultural performance from Eddy Kenzo ft The Ghetto Kids on July 21st Vancouver. Plus, an exclusive guest performance by Emmanuel Jal: Juno nominated Musician, Actor, and Campaigner embarks on his 6th studio album. This is going to be an incredible show from East African entertainment.
The 4th annual Descent Festival is a cultural event in which people of Vancouver to get celebrate Africa and enjoy different cultures. It's a Free public event to enjoy.
