In the serene landscapes of Yirol East County, Lakes State, a footballing powerhouse quietly thrives under the banner of the ADIOR Payam Football Team, affectionately known as "The Buffalos." Founded in 1993, the team has evolved into a beacon of sporting excellence, representing the ADOR community with pride and passion on the football pitch.
ADIOR Payam Football Team's journey has been marked by triumphs and milestones, solidifying their status as a force to be reckoned with in Greater Yirol and beyond. Notable among their achievements is their commendable performance in the inaugural edition of the Greater Yirol Inter-Payams Tournament (GYIPT) held in early 2023 in Juba City, where they showcased their prowess by advancing to the semifinals amidst stiff competition.

A testament to their commitment to nurturing talent, the ADIOR Payam Football Team has served as a springboard for several budding athletes, propelling them towards domestic and international professional careers. The illustrious list of alumni includes Marial Awet, a standout player for Kator FC in the Konyo-Konyo League and a proud representative of the South Sudan National Team Under-20. Additionally, the team boasts the remarkable achievement of Dani Lual Gum Thon, who recently made headlines by signing for CS Știința Miroslava in Romania, following stints with prestigious clubs in countries such as the Czech Republic, Latvia, and Kenya.
