CEE Toronto: Black Tech Takeover Week

CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals

From June 15th to June 19th, 2020, CEE Toronto is hosting its first Black Tech Takeover social media conference with live programs on Facebook, Youtube, Instagram. The digital conference will be celebrating Black peoples advancements in tech, interviewing notable achievers and highlighting alumni’s of CEE’s digital tech programs. FOUNDER: Dr. Kofi Hope

CEE was founded by Dr Kofi Hope in 2012, as one of Toronto’s most innovative agencies serving Black youth. Today CEE still stands as Toronto based charity that is dedicated to addressing the economic and social barriers that affect Black.

Executive Director Agapi Gessesse and program Directors at CEE have been working persistently in delivering programs in which black youth in city of toronto can take part in.

Their role and advocacy have play a big part in changing the ways opportunities are provided to black youth who would not necessary have access too.

CEE Toronto works to increase economic and social opportunities for Black youth 14 to 29th years old who currently facing barriers to career growth. Moreverover, CEE Toronto runs intensive career training programs in several different and each participants will gain industry skills through hands-on training, exposure trips, and career coaching to build their professionalism. Thus, they have excellent program directors, mentors and social workers who work hard in helping their participant with personal growth, and networks.

Programs offered at CEE:

CEE Toronto has variety of programs offered including Cee Tech, E-TRADES, VFX, Production Assistant, Niche which focus on Social Service industry, Kitchen Masters. CEE also offers an exploration course for people who are not sure on what profession they would like to engage in.

CEE IN THE COMMUNITY

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic quarantine CEE volunteers have been mobilize and taking action to support their members providing them fresh food delivery, housing info, uber riders. Talk about Community working together as join force even during difficult times. Thank you CEE Toronto for setting up an example.
