Throw back Thursday! on this week's superstar feature. The moment we entered the modelling lounge room at the BEAUTIFUL YOU FASHION TORONTO in 2017. We immediately noticed Vaughn was not from THE6IX.

I'm sure thats the same reaction most designers or event coordinators from around the world would get when first meeting him. His elegance, charismatic personality and classy style just set him apart.

Plus, I was honoured to have him walk in our collection and got a chance to hear about his business venture plans and the NUVO Enterprisellc. Today, I'm privileged to cover his story on NEECEELEXY's weekly global talent feature. Plus, getting an exclusive personal interview about his modelling, acting and entrepreneurship journey.

Tell us about yourself ( short intro about your modeling, acting career )?

I am 24 years old (Pisces baby). I've been modeling for about 5 years now but 2 years professionally. However, I've been acting my whole life. Acting has always been my true passion and first love. As a young boy, my mother would put me in showbiz productions whether it was local school plays, church plays, or theatres play. Just about anywhere where there was a stage. As funny as it may sound, I always wanted to be in character and loved performing in general.

In 2016, I had the opportunity to audition for a major film in Los Angeles. The audition was only open for local Californians. Unfortunately, I lived in Pennsylvania at the time but because of my hunger for acting I went anyway. I did a phenomenal performance, the production crew were impressed. Despite me not living locally and came from the other side of the country for an opportunity in film production. They decided to make me apart of their production company with free of charge. I took the offere and learned so much more about the art!

When did you start modelling?

I started modeling at the age of 19, in my second year of college.

Who inspired your modeling career?

Honestly no one, I was inspired by myself. All I knew, I wanted to be a profound actor one day. As an actor I always to had updated my headshots and body shots for casting calls. As a result, I started modelling to perfect those shots for when that big opportunity come across. During school, I've tried to maximize my time because I wasn’t able to go from audition to audition. However, taking pictures can be done anywhere so I'm like why not.

As an international model you’ve gained a strong foundation in building your own empire launching the NUVO agency and model management. Can you tell us about it?how can models register to be part of it?

Currently, I like to invest real time and effort into my talent. I’m only working with a handful of models on the regular to ensure they are comfortable and confident to move freely within the industry without being misled or guided.

The Nuvoenterprise isn’t just for models though. Indeed, we are a talent agency. Fortunately, we are consist of Dj’s, graphic artists, photographers, actors ,dancers and are open to helping anyone involved in the arts. Our ultimate mission is to inspire, train, and connect talent to the necessary resources to ensure there success. Your not alone on this journey.

What is the inspiration behind your NUVO brand name?

The name Nuvo was adopted in college where I did a lot of transformations and maturing so I became a “new-vaughn”. The old vaughn had to release any doubts about himself, and fears of failure, loss of all negativity, and the strong desire of becoming a guiding light to many of his peers in a dim World. Change starts with you! and in order to do so you must strip away everything old and start a new vision and journey and to never look back.

Are you currently working in any film production coming out soon?

I’m not an established actor yet. I do have major opportunity this upcoming July in which I will performing for agents and agency’s from around the country in hopes of gaining representation. So I’m currently preparing for that.

What is your go to fashion tips?

Keep it simple, professional, presentable and wowable (make someone say wow when they look at you)

What is(are) your favourite (s) runway experience(s) as international model and why

My most memorable runway experience was for best model of the world in Alicante spain where I was fortunate enough to walk the same runway as other top models from every corner and country of the world ranging from Russia, Sri Lanka , Ghana , Switzerland’s, Japan, Italy etc. I learned so much about they’re lifestyles and culturural differences on that runway.

Congrats on your achievements! Do you have your top 3 cities or countries you’ve modelled in?

Top 3 countries would have to be Spain, England and Canada

What can we expect from you in the next 2 years or so?

Prayerfully, within the next 2 years or so you can expect an expansion of nuvoenterprise with multiple locations and to see me on your TV screen and in your local magazines.

Who are other talented designers or stylist you would hope to collaborate with?Definitely would like to work with Lexynelle Reveur to produce a fashion show in Canada as well as Milano do rouge who is based in Philadelphia.

Are you currently producing NUVO shows this summer that we should look out for?

No confirmed dates as of now but I do have some big projects brewing so stay tuned
