Meet the 19 years old activist Miss Adut M Deng from Nairobi Kenya. Audt Deng also known as Amylia, she is a South Sudan native living in Nairobi. Recently, she was crowned as the 1st Runner for Miss World South Sudan 2018 grand finale in Juba, S.S. We are pleased to have her among our TOP 100 SELF MADE ENTREPRENEURS from around the global series. Audt is an excellent speaker who embarked her life mission towards youth & women empowerment. She is the founder & CEO of Mission for Better South Sudan platforms in efforts to support orphanages and troubled kids in South Sudan. As we all know, South Sudan is the youngest country in the world with an ongoing civil war and social conflicts. Audt M Deng hopes to use her voice and knowledge to bring a better future for youth & women in her nation. Be the voice of the voiceless.

My name is Amylia Deng, a 19 years old activist, model, designer and an author.
When did you start getting involved in pageant shows? Who inspired you to enter pageant?
Well it's just recently, to be honest I've never pictured myself doing beauty pageants but I had a urge of joining Miss World someday, so I asked few of my friends if it's a great idea including Neecee. They gave me courage to do so and I made it , it was a great experience
You are also founder of the MISSION FOR BETTER SOUTH SUDAN can you tell us about it?
Yes ,it's a non organization project that I decided to create few months ago for it to fulfill thousands of children's dreams in South Sudan, to also motivate youth in involving themselves into different facilities and empowering women…. What is your go to fashion tips as a beauty pageant? What is (are) your favourite pageant experience(s) and why?
going with casual ,official and evening gowns, it made me so comfortable at the stage that I could imagine I owned the staged by myself lol, I really had fun, simple and classic.
You’ve recently been crowned as 1st Runner Up for Miss World South Sudan 2018. Congratulations! What have you gained the most from this entire experience thus far? Confidential, cause when I joined, I wasn't confident enough but as I get to experience the concept, I build my confidence up.
For a girl who is interested in entering a pageant, what advice will you give her?
Baby girl go for it, it's really a fun thrilling experience and build you up… don't think twice but just do it, you won't regret Aside from pageant and activist duties,
You are an author currently working to publish your first book. Can you tell us about it ?
Growing up, I was so intent up with books, I has explored many historical fiction and my dreams was to have a book of my own so I decided to do it, it'll be released soon bare with me at the moment

You’ve recently been crowned as 1st Runner Miss World South Sudan 2018, can you tell us about the crowning moment?
well it was quite a shocking and surprising moment, it was intensely perfect Fall of 2019, the Miss World South Sudan will be hosting their annual pageant show.
What advice will you give these upcoming contestants to prepare themselves for winning the crown?
Be yourself, focus on your goal, practice practice earlier and be determined.
